Coaching StaffHead Coach- Alan Huss
Coach Huss is in his third year as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at La Lumiere. His overall record at La Lumiere is 72-13. Coach Huss is in his ninth season as a varsity basketball coach. His overall record is 164-50. Prior to La Lumiere, Coach Huss was the head basketball coach at Culver Military Academy. CMA set school records for wins in each of his final two seasons as the helm. Coach Huss was a collegiate basketball player at Creighton University, and reached the NCAA Tournament three times. Coach Huss also serves as the Assistant Director of Admissions at La Lumiere.

Coach Heirman is in his first season as Assistant Director of Athletics and Assistant Basketball Coach at La Lumiere School. Coach Heirman is also the Head Coach of the La Lumiere Varsity Blue team. Coach Heirman played collegiate basketball at University of Tulsa.

Coach Heffernan brings a wealth of coaching experience to La Lumiere. He was an Assistant coach at Ball State, Loyola Chicago, DePaul, University of Illinois-Chicago, and has made numerous other stops as a head coach in high school and junior college basketball. Coach Heffernan teaches special education in the Chicago Public Schools.

Coach Walker has coached high school basketball for eight years. He has worked with numerous NCAA Division One athletes, and specializes in guard player development. Coach Walker Also serves as the Dean of Students, English Faculty and Head Football Coach at La Lumiere School.
